Why Essential Rewards?

Essential Rewards is Young Livings loyalty program where those who order products every month receive rewards in gratitude for their loyalty.

Ordering products each month is a part of embracing the Young Living lifestyle of wellness, purpose and abundance.

The products can replace many of the items you use throughout your home from household cleaning products, personal care, make-up, baby care, supplements and so much more.  They are made with clean, sustainable ingredients and thus aid your home and body to detoxify and nourish.

How many other places can you purchase your families toothpaste, sunscreen, joint support and protein mix and earn points for more products, receive additional promotional products (based on order PV) and receive thank you gifts throughout the year.  See the below video for an overview.

Safe in the Sun

Sunscreen has been one products I have learned to do without as much as possible.

I no longer burn all the time as I used to since removing processed foods and chemicals from my diet, restoring nutrient deficiencies and embracing healthy fats and thus the fat soluble activators of Vitamins A, D, E and K.

So many sunscreens are loaded with chemicals, nanoparticles, fragrances (from unknown sources) and many things to avoid http://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/report/the-trouble-wi...

So how do you protect yourself when you will be in the harsh sun for longer than 20 minutes?

Young Living's Mineral Sunscreen Lotion

  • Non-chemical
  • Mineral Based
  • No nanoparticles
  • Water Resistant
  • Sweat Resistant
  • Dermatologist Approved
  • Contains Essential Oils
  • SPF 10
  • Broad Spectrum

The active ingredient is Zinc oxide 10.5%

Inactive ingredients: grape seed, coconut oil, tapioca starch, octyldodecyl oleate, beeswax, hydrogenated vegetable oil, candelila wax, cocoa butter, silica, tocopherol, jojoba oil, bisbolol, *helichysum italicum flower oil, *lavender oil, *commiphora myrrha oil,* cistus ladaniferus oil, picea sunflower oil, *calendula officinalis flower, *matricaria chamomilla, *boswellia sacra resin oil, raspberry seed oil, virola sebifera seed oil, mauritia flexuosa fruit oil.

Seedlings - Natural Baby Care Products

What we use on our skin and in our environment is important to health and when it comes to babies, this holds true even more.

According to the National Pesticide Information Center

  • An infant's brain, nervous system, and organs are still developing after birth.
  • When exposed, a baby's immature liver and kidneys cannot remove pesticides from the body as well as an adult's liver and kidneys.
  • Infants may also be exposed to more pesticide than adults because they take more breaths per minute and have more skin surface relative to their body weight.
  • Children often spend more time closer to the ground, touching baseboards and lawns where pesticides may have been applied.
  • Children often eat and drink more relative to their body weight than adults, which can lead to a higher dose of pesticide residue per pound of body weight.
  • Babies that crawl on treated carpeting may have a greater potential to dislodge pesticide residue onto their skin or breathe in pesticide-laden dust.
  • Young children are also more likely to put their fingers, toys, and other objects into their mouths.

The product we use on and around our children ideally should be as natural as possible.
